How you Choose the Best Storage Media for you.
The most frightening prospect imaginable: spending hours writing a document or piece of content and then running out of storage space to save it. Purchase some more storage media; you’ll be glad you did.
You have several options when it comes to storing your data. Which one is best for you? We’ve compiled a list of the finest choices for you.
External hard drive
It’s a good idea to be able to take your files with you at all times. Your text documents, photos, and other multimedia items are examples of this.
An external hard drive is your best friend when it comes to storage solutions since it allows you to store everything on one device. You connect these discs to the USB ports of your computer, then load them up with everything they have.
Then all of your equipment is brought with you, allowing you to reopen it at work, for example. External hard drives have a significant benefit: they provide huge storage capacity.
We sell external hard drives with sizes ranging from 10 TB up to 60 TB. It might be an investment, but how wonderful is it to know that you’ll never run out of space?
Memory card / SD card
A tiny, flat memory card is known as an SD card. It’s great for moving documents from one gadget to the next. This is a fantastic storage option for photographers.
Nothing is more frustrating than having a beautiful photograph in front of you but being unable to take it because you don’t have enough space.
Taking multiple SD cards with you will allow you to shoot your picture when the time comes regardless of how little or much room there is on your device’s internal storage area (ROM). They were cheap, too!
It’s as simple as connecting your camera directly to a computer and clicking “transfer” to make the files available on a home computer.
You can quickly move the photographs from your camera to your laptop by using this method. SD cards range in size from 16 GB to 128 GB. The micro SD is another variety of smaller SD cards (not to be confused with a regular SD card).
This may be used to expand the memory storage on your Android phone or tablet, allowing you to download games without having to delete any previous ones.
USB flash drives are well-known because who does not know them? You may easily hold your papers on a USB stick and transport them anywhere.
This is a fantastic little gadget when compared to a hard drive. Transferring small amounts of data is particularly easy using a USB stick. Documents and photographs are both handy with this device.
If you have a lot of video files, an external hard drive may be a better option. USB is great because it is such a cheap storage format. They’re available for around ten euros each. We offer them in the same storage capacity as SD cards: 16 GB to 128 GB.
Internal hard drive
Do you despise bundling up and never having to carry files with you? Then it’s a good idea to upgrade the memory in your laptop yourself. An internal hard drive is used for this. Your laptop’s storage capacity can be expanded by up to 2 TB thanks to this.
The last step is to try and fill it up. The main advantage of this kind of storage media is that it can be used with a variety of devices, including PCs and Laptops, as well as gaming consoles such as the Toshiba internal hard drive.
Network hard disk (NAS)
A hard drive in a network has the same function as a cloud. You connect the device to your WiFi router, and it allows you to upload all of your data. It immediately copies all of your data, so you can be certain that nothing will be lost.
The great thing is that you can save from your laptop, phone, tablet, and game console. This way all your devices are cleaned up. Great for families, because anyone connected to the WiFi can upload the files to the NAS.
