The Next Big Thing in Dell G15
The G15 Ryzen Edition, a 15-inch laptop with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 Series laptop GPU, up to an AMD Ryzen CPU, and 3200Mhz DDR4 memory that you can update yourself, is the more inexpensive of the two.
Dell’s new G15 gaming laptop is being marketed as a sleek, budget-friendly gaming laptop with a small bezel and “Alienware-inspired thermal design” that maximizes airflow to disperse heat effectively.
At launch, the G15 will be available in Dark Shadow Grey and two speckled versions. The Game Shift key, which is included in Dell’s G line of gaming laptops, is meant to increase the unit’s cooling efforts when playing games and performing other heavy tasks.
If you want your keys to be illuminated, the G15 will offer two upgrade choices for its regular full-size keyboard: one with an orange backlight that places a specific focus on WASD, and the other with a configurable 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard that identifies a particular emphasis on WASD.

Budget gaming laptops are quite competitive these days, with the latest components from AMD, Intel, and Nvidia allowing for better performance than ever before at lower prices. The Dell G5 15 5500 features an all-AMD CPU and GPU, giving excellent multimedia and gaming performance at a low price.
G5 15 5500 is neither the cheapest nor the fastest laptop on the market. However, it’s well-made, well-designed, and muscular enough to give contemporary games a run for their money. All of this is on top of a 144Hz screen.
The Interstellar Dark coating on the top cover of the G5 chassis, for example, hides an iridescent shimmer inside what appears to be ordinary black plastic in normal lights. A 12-zone RBG light bar sits beneath the front edge of the chassis on the model I have here, projecting a decent arc onto the surface beneath.
